In this session we met and planned to get the wall built. Having collected a significant amount of cobble in the previous session, the next question was did we need stone bricks? There were actually a bunch of next steps. We used the tactic of checking in before the session, but the goals were pretty clear from the get go. In a way this was ep.5.2 more than a new mission altogether.
After more than a month away from the Shed Men world, it was time to return to it with some fellow travelers. The key lesson from my last post was that I was much more mindful when I was playing with others. This session I decided that we should state intentions and record them together and check in with more collaborative crafting. James, Ryan, Eli, Drew and myself all joined the world together.
The battle is about to take shape. The forces are gathering. Askani has OP powers as a legal passover from the previous game, giving her Douglas' Missile and keeping her Red Star. She has the strategic mind of Ryan joining her for the first time. Can the n00b generals make good on their advantage or will they fall short of the n00b hope?
Back when I lived in Shanghai, China, I spent as much of my time as possible playing around with my guitar at home and dabbling with recording the songs that came up as a result. I wrote “THIS SONG” while experiencing life in exile: I couldn’t communicate with most of my friends and family because the internet was terrible and my Chinese language ability was virtually non-existent.
I wrote and then recorded the song first, and just used a handheld audio recorder/camera to make the video. I think the video document is pretty interesting in itself. Every wonder what Chinese New Year is like in China? (Hint: imagine fireworks everywhere day and night for two weeks).
